OVPL adds Cincy SC in 2020
The Cincinnati Soccer Club are the fifth club to commit to playing in the inaugural 2020 season of the Ohio Valley Premier League (OVPL). Founded in 2015, Cincy SC seeks to provide a youth soccer experience that is focused on player development and a community feel. The Club’s core values are excellence, player development, integrity, and community, which spell out their Club’s hashtag of #daretobeEPIC.
Cincy SC was founded by Russell Lewis. The OVPL team is led by Bret Marshall, who will serve as the team’s head coach, and Conner Zimmerman, who serves as general manager and assistant coach. Former high school teammates at Finneytown High School, Marshall and Zimmerman saw an additional need in Cincinnati for high-level soccer for competitive adults. Prior to joining OVPL, Cincy SC has operated their competitive teams in local leagues with Gotham Soccer Cincinnati.
Members of OVPL for 2020 include: Cincinnati Dutch Lions FC, Indy Saints FC, Lexington Landsharks, FC Pride, and Cincy SC. Stay connected with the OVPL on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram.

About the OVPL
The Ohio Valley Premier League (OVPL) was created to operate a competitive soccer circuit offering the only adult amateur competition throughout the tri-state (Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky) region. Player development is a central focus of the League, as the League strives to promote the region at a national level.
The OVPL seeks to grow the game of soccer in the region by providing a highly-competitive soccer league for men, women, boys, and girls of all ages. The League is sanctioned through US Club Soccer and provides access to competing in the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup, the nation’s longest running tournament.
