FC Pride join OVPL for 2020
The fourth club to commit to playing in the inaugural 2020 season of the Ohio Valley Premier League (OVPL) is FC Pride. Established in 2001, FC Pride provides premier and travel level soccer to the northeast side of Indianapolis and its surrounding communities. The senior boys and girls have participated in the ECNL since the 2017-2018 season.
As part of FC Pride’s commitment to providing appropriate environments for all levels of players, an OVPL side allows FC Pride to continue offering players a place to play after high school. The home site for FC Pride is the new turf field, Heartland Sports Memorabilia Stadium at the Pride Performance Center.
Club statement: “At FC Pride Soccer Club, we believe the OVPL will be a pinnacle for our youth players to reach within the club. The OVPL will give us an added opportunity to help prepare our current players for the next level of soccer and also help our Alumni, who are currently playing in the college ranks, get ready for their competitive seasons. With our new turf stadium being completed in February, we will be able to provide a very professional environment for all of the players in training sessions and games.”
Members of OVPL for 2020 include: Cincinnati Dutch Lions FC, Indy Saints FC, Lexington Landsharks, and FC Pride. Stay connected with the OVPL on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram.
