Cincinnati Saints SC add Second Team

The fourth member for the women's division of the inaugural 2020 OVPL season is Cincinnati Saints SC II. Located in Crestview Hills, Kentucky, Saints SC the home field for the Cincinnati Saints will be Thomas More University. For the 2020 season, the Cincinnati Saints will field three teams, two in the women's division and one in the men's division. Three clubs have teams in each of the OVPL men's and women's divisions. Founding Members Lexington Landsharks, from Lexington, Kentucky, were the first to make the commitment with both teams. The Cincinnati Swerve and Sirens both operate together out of Fairfield, Ohio. Twelfth and final member of the men's division, Cincinnati Saints SC, round out the clubs who offer men and women to compete this summer.

About Cincinnati Saints SC

The Cincinnati Saints SC is in its first-year as a U23 team. Based out of Crestview Hills, Kentucky and the campus of Thomas More University, the Club aims to provide a place for high-level club and college players to train or compete throughout the summer months.

About the OVPL

The Ohio Valley Premier League (OVPL) was created to operate a competitive soccer circuit offering the only adult amateur competition throughout the tri-state (Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky) region. Player development is a central focus of the League, as the League strives to promote the region at a national level.

The OVPL seeks to grow the game of soccer in the region by providing a highly-competitive soccer league for men, women, boys, and girls of all ages. The League is sanctioned through US Club Soccer and provides access to competing in the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup, the nation’s longest running tournament.
